Grand Forks, ND -- Praxis Strategy Group announced strategic alliances with two leading consultants in the fields of wind energy and agri-business.
Warren Enyart brings more than 40 years of experience in energy, business development, communications and leadership to the Praxis team.
Dr. Neil C. Doty’s career has included a lifelong focus on adding value to agriculture related resources in rural regions throughout the world.
“Our alliances with Neil and Warren bolster our capabilities in energy and agriculture, helping our clients and partners here and around the globe put their ideas into action,” said Delore Zimmerman, President of Praxis Strategy Group.
“This empowers them to determine their own futures in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing economy.”
Enyart has an extensive background in energy, both as an employee and as a consultant. He served as environmental manager for a multi-state generation and transmission utility and is a founding member and secretary of M-Power, LLC, North Dakota’s largest community-owned wind energy development project.
M–Power was formed in 2006 by the Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone (GSEZ) and the Griggs/Steele Wind Development Group, LLC. He previously was CEO of GSEZ.
He has also held positions as an advisor for High Plains Consortium, Inc., and Ponds Rx Us, Inc.; vice president of Dakota Aero Manufacturers, LLC, CEO of Renewable Resources Research Institute; center director for North Dakota Manufacturing Technology Partnership, CEO of Technology Transfer, Inc.; president of Midwest Management Information Services, and president and CEO of Midwest Environmental Services.
Enyart is also an experienced and practicing scientist.
Doty formed N.C. Doty & Associates, LLC., in 1994, a rural economic development consultancy firm dedicated to building rural communities through business development.
The company has provided feasibility studies and business planning services for dozens of rural, value-added agricultural production cooperatives and companies, which today are successfully producing milled grains, frozen bread dough, frozen pizza dough, baked goods, snack foods, pasta, dry edible bean, flax, apple, oilseed, meat, legume and dairy products, and biofuels.
Earlier, Doty led a team of engineers and scientists as General Nutrition Corporation’s director of product development and design, which developed 12 profitable processing facilities that converted a wide range of commodities into nearly a thousand viable valueadded, nutrition-oriented products.
He co-founded and was president of Sonne Labs, Inc., in Wahpeton, N.D., which supplied nutritious sunflower and soybean snack foods to most of the nation’s school lunch programs and automatic vending machines.
Doty was also president and one of the founding developers of Global Electric MotorCars, LLC, Fargo, which experienced rapid growth and operates profitably today as a wholly owned subsidiary of Chrysler Corporation.
