Praxis Strategy Group and DMD Consulting have completed a major study for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU) system assessing student demand and employer needs for higher education in the Mesabi Range region of Northeast Minnesota. The project focused on four-year and graduate programs in STEM-related areas that would impact proposed economic development and industrial projects in the Mesabi Range. The results provide alternatives and recommendations on how regional educational needs can be met by the MNSCU system to meet the growing needs of regional businesses to compete in the global marketplace.
